Probably 20 years ago I bought a large selection of miniatures that included British, American and Waffen SS. I bought them from
RLBP he had them in loose piles. I think they were made in the UK, the figures were good but the hands were very big, does anyone remember this line?

Nope, I had Easy Eights figures it wasn't them. I had tons of them and when I went to 20mm I sold them. I bought them from RLBPS decades ago.

I just went through my pile of Germans last night looking for a mortar team for a local peep, and found…

A pack of Battle Ground WW2 Germans with large hands (some almost head-sized). Wondering if that might be what you're after.

Battlegroup were made by Scoti Models.
The owner had some serious health issues and never heard of the company for the last ten years. There is a Scotia Models in the manufacturers page but it is unrelated.

They had individual figures in ranges of US, British, German and Panzer Grenadier. The sculp[ting was really defined in that I have never seenso accurate No4 rifles or even the battledress of the British was perfet for the Meditterranean campaign.
