Interesting use of Donnybrook. Looks like it worked well and you had fun, that is what counts.

Yep that's what matters.

I've never used Donnybrook for the intended period but it does give a fun game. I need to add some rules for later weapons but I can't see why it can't work for classic Wild West games too.

I use it for pirates and AWI. I like the reloading mechanism. It would work for the old west. I am currently enamored with dead mans hand.

An interesting looking scenario. I am not familiar with the rules.
