Looking for Bren and MG42 in any material!

Do you mean just loose weapons?

Thresher0103 Jan 2022 12:46 p.m. PST

I'm not aware of anyone that makes them loose.

I've asked Pendraken to produce MG42 gunners on patrol, and prone, since IIRC, they only offer 1 or 2 variants of those (can't recall which), and we really need 3 – 4 for our units.

Missing from their range are prone MG42 gunners firing for both Summer and Winter, and no MG42 teams moving, either with their guns slung over their shoulders, or them carrying them at the ready at waist level while walking point on patrol.

They do have MG34 teams moving.

Sadly, no panzerfausts firing or aiming either.

Their tripod MG42s are separate from the infantry poses, so you could perhaps cut the tripod off to get MG42s in metal.

I'd like to see separate weapons sold and released in packs, as well as some molded to a gunner and used for halftracks firing from the front and rear of halftrack models too.

MG3s would work too, if you can find those for the Cold War.

From Shapeways, small and fragile. No Bren though.
You could ask if he would do a Bren gun.

Weapons in 10mm 1/144 Metal EXTREMELY Difficult to Mould and Cast with success. Would probably have to be 'oversise'.

New figs always welcome.. but sometimes, just have to go with 'what there is'.

Cheers all!
