Isengard vs Numenor 600pts:

Greg Salvador and I met up on Thursday at Heroes Retreat San Antonio TX for an epic game of MESBG. Greg's evil army was led by Lurtz with a Shaman, scouts, and a Troll. My Numenor was led by Elendil and Isildur.
We rolled for the scenario and got maelstrom. Lurtz and the Shaman entered from one board edge and the scouts from another. Elendil had to spend a might to avoid being surrounded by Lurtz's force with Isildur on another board edge.
Both forces formed battle lines and advanced towards the middle of the board. Isildur assaulted the scouts, but took too long to destroy them. While he was off doing this, his father the King was assaulted by Lurtz and the troll. After two turns of battle the troll caught Elendil out of might and slew him.
Although the Numenorians were shaken they continued to put up a tough fight. Both sides were broken the same turn, but the Numenorians had lost their will and melted away.
A great win for Greg, but a re-match has been signed.
