But these are STL files only or complete models?

Those are 3d printed models, why else would they have free shipping? STL files do not need to be shipped.

In the description it says "printed in resin."

Not my bag, but I'm getting more and more interested in buying a 3D printer.

My problem would be knowing what printer to buy – not a clue!

@olicana

There is/was a 3d print board in here. There might be some guidance there.

Also, anybody thinking about a Riddick game just found their Necromomgers.

Interesting line of figs!

cloudcaptain24 Dec 2021 12:24 p.m. PST

It is an Etsy seller printing figs under license from Black Remenant. What normally happens is that an STL maker has a number of high tier slots on Patreon to allow vendors to print their things. As long as they maintain the monthly membership to a "vendor tier" they can print off the figs. If you want the stls to print them yourself…start off at the maker's Patreon.

Note to Olicana; you don't need your own printer to use STL files. There are plenty of third party printers out there who will print your files to your requirement.

Here in NZ, a friend has just had some printed by a third party and he is very happy with the outcome.

Albus Malum24 Dec 2021 6:12 p.m. PST

Olicana, just buy a printer, for the price you can pay someone to print them, you can buy the printer. it will open up a whole new world. get a resin printer. I have a epax, its a little more expensive, but I think any of the major brand cheaper printers will make you more than happy. Unless someone lives in a small apartment or something, is one wargames theh should buy a printer.

>, just buy a printer,

These machines are not like a paper printer, so I would advise you to ask somehone who owns a printer to show you the process.

Good adboce from Puster. The learning curve is not very steep. There are some tricks to learn and knowing what accessories to buy at first will save you a fair amount of money.

"The learning curve is not very steep."

I'll be kind and just point out that it depends where you start.
