A tasty treat that I have found (possibly imported into) many cuisines around the world. Especially fun for me becuase there are so many variants.

So, let's assume the filling has egg yolk. But that's all we take as a default. What else goes in or as a topping? My faves:

Pickle Relish
Horseradish Mustard
Teeny-eeeeeeeny bit of Mayonaise
Dill

On top:
Paprika
or
Anchovy
or
Caviar

Vegan deviled egg recipies welcome. I think they are the only non-vegan food I haven't seen vegans try to emulate. But I like food. Lots of food. Give it a shot!

Mine are made with Djion mustard and blue cheese (and the customary dash of paprika on top).

Don't care what's in them, just eat the hell out of them. Luv me some deviled eggs. Though I will admit to having the worst devil eggs at a hotel in Gainesville Fl, The Ello. They were soooooo bland. I think mostly egg yolk, a touch of wimpy mustard and some weak arse mayo, with a piece of over fried bacon to act like a sail. Yeah it's an artsy place. I sunk that flotilla and have never been back.

Miracle whip, yellow mustard, minced onion, garlic powder, and sweet pickle relish.

Tabasco, plus mustard and paprika.

Not the devil?

False advertising.

Don't know what my sister and mother in law put in theirs, but they sure have a hellava kick to them.

See the joke, devil…..hellava……get the connect?

OK, not a great joke.

Pickles, Dijon Mustard, little mayo, Dill, Texas Pete, dash of Worchestershire, sprinkle of black pepper. Paprika on top.

Intrigued by the idea of a piece of bacon on top. May have to try that

rustymusket20 Dec 2021 7:59 a.m. PST

I just eat them.

Stryderg20 Dec 2021 11:05 a.m. PST

Never been a fan (don't like egg yolks or mayo).

The only thing I would do with them is throw them in the trash.

Titchmonster20 Dec 2021 2:02 p.m. PST

Very finely diced celery, mayo, underwood's deviled ham, Dijon, Texas Pete and Lawry's seasoning salt

I'd rather just eat the egg hard boiled with a little salt and pepper on it.

Never had an egg (except when used to make something, like a cake). But just an Egg as an Egg never had one

I love them! I'd like everyone's recipes! They sound delicious!

Un-named intelligence sources claim there is evidence that they originally contained real devils until people stopped believing in them and they had to find alternative employment as Cubans, Venezualeans, North Koreans, Iranians. Chinese, Russians, Taleban and Amway reps..

Growing up in New Mexico, if it doesn't contain green chili, it ain't food. Hatch green is the best!

Sounds pretty good !

A few years ago, Miracle Whip did have a very good commercial about bringing the deviled eggs.

I've actually never made them, but I have eaten them. I don't particularly like the flavor or texture of eggs, but I do like deviled eggs.
