I'm looking for a book that covers the entire history of the conflict in Africa during WWII. Thanks for any tips. |

It sort of depends just how deep you want to dive. A good overview book would be Jack Coggins, Campaign for North Africa. link |

This year read The Battle for North Africa 1940-43 by W.G.E Jackson, enjoyed it immensely |

Coggin's book is good, but it's emphasis is The latter part of the campaign. Little on the beginning before El Alamein. I would be interested what others recommend for the whole campaign. |

Barrie Pitts trilogy on the campaign is very good. |

Don't know about the entire North African campaign, but for the US involvement you can't beat "An Army At Dawn" by Atkinson. link |

The Atkinson trilogy is fantastic. |

Jackson's book is terrific….and the Pitt trilogy….can't say enough about it. Moorehead's volumes are also excellent. |

If you add John Delaney's "Fighting the Desert Fox" to Atkinson's "An Army at Dawn" you get a pretty good overview of the campaign. |
