I want to base lengths of walling/hedges and need W 3/4"-1" x L 12-14" Evergreen doesn't seem to make anything that wide which is surprising. I absolutely do not want to cut them from a sheet myself. I don't care how easy it is. I need machined perfection for what I have in mind and I don't want to fuss around with it. |

have you thought of using plywood? Litko can do custom and there are some thin options? |

I don't think I've ever seen those from evergreen. Some hobby woods they sell at craft/hobby stores might have those dimensions. Without cutting something down you might be on a mighty quest, there may be some place online that has them for non-crafting purpose. |

Tap plastics can cut strips for you out of whatever plastic material and thickness you prefer. Get them to pre-cut very long, 3' – 4' strips since they charge per cut, to save money. Then, you just have to cut to length whish is very easy with a mitre box. They'll do it for you too, but it'll cost you. Another option – buy plastic rulers at the Dollar Store, instead. |

I buy 4'X8" sheets of polystyrene plastic. It' was $20 USD a sheet(40 mil ). You can get thicker if you want. You just have to cut it to your dimensions. Used to buy it in town I lived in but now that i live the suburbs of Chicago. I had to go to Lima Ohio |

If you need to cut your own, look for a paper cutter you can borrow (basically a big board with a very sharp blade on one side… ;-) |
