Oh wow. I just saw him in a forum recently. Wow. He lost his wife and father this year. So sad.

This is so sad. I had just recently corresponded with him after hearing about his wife. My wife has an incurable form of leukemia and we discussed how important it is to enjoy the moments we have before our loved ones are gone. Poor guy.

That's very sad. May he rest in peace with his family. I just got an order from him a week or two ago. I ordered a few times a year.

RIP. NWS has accomplished a great deal for naval gamers.

It's really sad. Sounds like a broken heart.

I have a $100 USD order still pending, so I suspect I won't be resolving that any time soon.

It's a damn shame. I had many nice phone conversations with him over the years, and as recently as just after his wife passed. He was an excellent guy to deal with, and a thoroughly nice person to talk to.

Official announcement and news about orders from the store. Short story, the store, stock, etc. are effectively locked in probate.

I will dip my head in remembrance.

Sounds like the sort of chap that adds to the hobby.
They are important.

I never knew the man, my loss.
Condolences to those who knew him and his wife,

martin

I'll say a prayer for the soul of him and his family. May they be reunited in Heaven.
