Well, I tried to make an early medieval donjon.
Maybe it will be expanded to a complete castle (motte & bailey type) but that will be part 2 of the project.

Great job. I really like how you spent the extra time painting multicolored stones instead of the simple uniform grey dry brush.

Very impressive!
I've been thinking about making something smallish (compared to Paris) for my Vikings to besiege. Something like a semi-fortified, stone church or a motte and bailey castle.
So, yes, please post to let us know how part two is going once you get started.

On our blog part 2 and constructing pictures of the expanding donjon into a motte and baily construction. Now only some builings for the bailey.
