The opposing armies are starting to move toward each other somewhere in Bavaria near the city of Oberbratwurst. Yep, it's 1704 and the War of Spanish Succession is in full swing. The Grand Alliance has finished deploying while the Bavarians and French are still formulating their battle plan.

How does VnB play with what appear to be 2 strength point units?

Dining Room Battles25 Nov 2021 8:05 p.m. PST

Quickly and make sure you have a reserve! The battle reports are coming.

Nice idea with the chunky bases and the labels on the back!

Now that's why I'm getting into WSS. Everything is so colorful! I have a bunch of Dixons, Minifigs and Roundway that I'll be painting soon. Very fine looking game! I also like the labels and would like to do something like that but my movement trays aren't very thick.

Cheers!

Thanks!

I found that the "chunky" bases made it easier to identify the units; especially for a new period!

Easier to pick up as well, especially if you are like me and have bananas for fingers!

Or like me with sausage fingers! And it does do a good job of protecting the figures.
