Any suggestions for village houses? We've got a couple of old resin ones we like a lot, but we're not very keen on any of the MDF ones we've seen so far, however we are open to suggestions. We're based in Scotland.

There's not much choice, anyone who does Vietnam-suited buildings as anything but laser-cut MDF or papercraft, is probably in the US, and difficult to buy from now. MDF kits don't give you a finished product anyway. They are often best thought of as a substrate, and much more work needs to be done to create an acceptable building. In more modern or SF settings you can get away with just assembly and painting and saying it's done; but older styles and textures, or more natural materials, ain't gonna happen.

If you have access to a 3D printer there was a good kickstarter last year from WOW Buildings

Lots of terrain bits there to choose from, village huts, aircraft, city buildings, boats, even the US Embassy.

Any interest in making your own? I've always putzed around with making buildings but with the global shipping craziness it may be enough cost savings to offset the work involved?

The only thing holding me back is my total lack of ability.
