… Surrender Halfway Through A Five-Day War Training Exercise In The Mojave Desert "Royal Marines commandos 'dominated' US troops and forced them into a humiliating surrender just days into a mass training exercise in the Mojave desert, it has been revealed today.
British forces took part in a five-day mock battle at the US Marine Corps' Twentynine Palms base in southern California, one of the largest military training areas in the world, and achieved a decisive victory against their American counterparts. The Royal Marines, along with allied forces from Canada, the Netherlands and the UAE, destroyed or rendered inoperable nearly every US asset and finished the exercise holding more than 65 per cent of the training area, after beginning with less than 20 per cent…" link Main page link Armand

Congratulations to the Brits. I do often wonder during exercises like this, how much of the wins/losses are baked into the scenario designs. Using paintball guns is NOT the same as real ones. |

Well I wouldn't entirely trust the Daily Fail's objectivity! The UKs Telegraph newspaper is apparently blaming the US's culture wars for the alleged loss – I haven't read the article but I'd guess its actually tub thumping for the Conservative Governments rather sad and pathetic attempts to ignite a Culture War-like environment here. Obviously without knowing the details its impossible to know the truth and the exercise scenario may well have been deliberately tough on the USMC. Though the UK military's own comments suggest we did well – and I would never underestimate the apparently perverse motivation the British military get from trouncing allies in exercises! I suppose everyone likes to have bragging rights? |

Didnt a high %, and I presume the best of the USMC, stand down or leave the USMC a couple months back due to the vaccine mandates? even a 10% rate would have to have a significant impact. I know there have also been high level AF pėlots and hundreds of thousands of army, USAF, Navy, etc personnel who have objected to the vax mandate. ALso, there was a major military political purge/stand down early this year which probably also had substantial implications. |
