The new Perry Miniatures 28mm release of Butler's Rangers provides me a perfect opportunity to paint them as The Kings (Carolina) Rangers, led by Colonel Thomas ‘Burnfoot' Brown.

I'm always confused whether their facings were red or white. From what I remember of the re-enactors, they are too.

The answer is probably ‘yes'. 😁

My Hinchliffe heroes are red-faced (uniforms, not exertion) because it looks nice.

I have the Front Rank figures but in my opinon the Perry's version is the one to have. Ordering them next week.
