1 being lowest, 10 highest. I'm a solid 7. |

01 I would say zero if I could |

I'm an 8. Especially the naval battles. |

Very low. If I were doing anything with that war minis-wise it¨d be naval. |

I have 8 to 10 ships from the Old Glory "Age of Ironclads" range pre-Dreadnaughts for Russo-Japanese War in 1/600 scale. Great ships, but don't have large interest in the land war. Don't know a great deal about it, land wise, for battles. From what I understand it was a preview of W.W. I with the Japanese infantry charging dug in Russians who had a few Maxim guns. I'm sure there was fighting along the supply railroad lines towards Port Arthur, but just don't know any details. |

5 If someone fields well-painted minis on the tabletop, I'm willing to play the game. One of our local group has done this in the past with a naval scenario and his ships. Rick |

8 on land battles (which is the topic of your question). 10 on naval battles (as I play them regularly). The Russo Japanese War is a subject near and dear to me. I'd say 10 to 10mm or 15mm land battles (since they could be quite large in size). |

1 some vague interest, but not (zero interest really) in 28mm. |
rmaker | 02 Nov 2021 8:27 a.m. PST |
1, because I would do it in 15mm. |

10! I am especially interested in more Japanese to complement the Tsuba range |
Lascaris | 02 Nov 2021 12:44 p.m. PST |
Twenty years ago probably an 8, today I can't see myself starting a new, large project, so a 1. |
Dan Cyr | 02 Nov 2021 3:44 p.m. PST |
Hard to discern a chance of the Russian having a chance on land. Vague chance at sea, so I play those games. |

One. Might play a game at a con if the rules were interesting. I would think 10 or 15mm would be a little bit more popular, but it is an obscure war as far as war gaming goes. Now using a few 28mm figures for BoB or Boxer Rebellion would be an eight. |

I would be a 10. This is a very interesting conflict to game and I would enjoy painting figures for this war. |

I think of this conflict like the Balkan Wars of 1912-13. If and when someone makes a good line of 15mm minis for it then I'll consider going all in. |
Escapee | 02 Nov 2021 8:12 p.m. PST |
Not in that scale, so a 1. Like some others, 8 for the naval battles, a fascinating period. But not what you asked. |

8 for naval, got a pile of the OG 1/600 ships, use "You may fire when ready". Land, maybe a 4, in 25/28mm |

As Lascaris said 20 years ago an 8. 30 years ago a 10. Now -1. |
