Evening all, Today, I intended to refight the Battle of Montgat 1808 with a friend from the wargames club, pitting Italians against Spanish, but due to family illness, and the resulting lack of sleep, I had to cancel at short notice. However, the table and armies were already deployed, so I thought i'd still post anyway – the AAR will have to wait until another week! I hope you enjoy – I think it looks great. link As always guys, any feedback, comments, suggestions, criticisms are all welcome Regards J |

Looks like a great game. I'm not familiar with DBN nomenclature and abbreviations. Can you explain how to read the Order of Battle? |

Hello Pavelft The OOB is nothing to do with DBN – I believe the ratings refer to Michael Hoppers own system.. "Each scenario book has nomenclature explanations. PR = poor/militia/conscripts/volunteers with some training etc. UNR = raw volunteers. AVG = regularly trained line troops, better militia, EL = elite, GD = guard. FA = foot artillery, HA = horse artillery etc." For the refight I will just apply my own DBN ratings to the figures Regards J |
