Evening all,

Today, I intended to refight the Battle of Montgat 1808 with a friend from the wargames club, pitting Italians against Spanish, but due to family illness, and the resulting lack of sleep, I had to cancel at short notice.

However, the table and armies were already deployed, so I thought i'd still post anyway – the AAR will have to wait until another week! I hope you enjoy – I think it looks great.

As always guys, any feedback, comments, suggestions, criticisms are all welcome

Looks like a great game. I'm not familiar with DBN nomenclature and abbreviations. Can you explain how to read the Order of Battle?

That looks like an interesting scenario.

Hello Pavelft

The OOB is nothing to do with DBN – I believe the ratings refer to Michael Hoppers own system..

"Each scenario book has nomenclature explanations. PR = poor/militia/conscripts/volunteers with some training etc. UNR = raw volunteers. AVG = regularly trained line troops, better militia, EL = elite, GD = guard. FA = foot artillery, HA = horse artillery etc."

For the refight I will just apply my own DBN ratings to the figures
