You were asked – TMP link

It's been noted for years (I knew an undergrad in '92 who was considering doing her thesis on it) that wargamers show many symptoms of autism. (One word – 'Bricole' – seasoned Napoleonic TMPers are having flashbacks at that.)

61% said "No reason to suspect autism"
6% said "I don't have a diagnosis, but believe I have an ASC"
0% said "I have a formal diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition"

As an retired teacher I remember an Educational psychologist telling me most males were somewhere on the spectrum. The school wargames club I ran was almost entirely students with special educational needs. But that was a great thing and boy did they enjoy it.

That appears to be my question, as I did know an undergrad who was considering it as her thesis. I have also missed the poll, as I do have a formal diagnosis!
