At your service gents. It is a fascinating read. It was nice to see a detailed breakdown of each group and their specific tasks and objectives. I was surprised at how many officers were involved. At least two or three for about 74 men. A reinforced platoon. or a weak company? It's a grand illustration of that old saw, "The best laid plan of mice and men…" I suppose that a similar operation by the French or Germans would have been little different.
