Really nice, thanks for sharing. I am building 40mm AWI armies. Love the 40s. |

Stop tempting me to start a new scale of figures I already have in the smaller scale! Beautifully done…..Now if you'll excuse me, I have to order some 40mm figures. |

I'm doing the French and Indian War in 40mm using the Trident figures. I have 1,100 figures so far. Very beautiful stuff. Lots of poses and everything you could ever want to develop the period. However, seeing your beautiful Riflemen, I'm tempted!!! |

Thanks guys, Doug I have not heard of Trident, do you have a link at all? |
GamesPoet | 20 Oct 2021 5:05 a.m. PST |
Trident is what they were originally called. They've since been sold, and being rebranded as Triguard. Triguard has three ranges … AWI, FIW/SYW, and Medieval (the latter was previously named Vanguard). |

I sold Trident to a fella in New Zealand and the company is now called Triguard. I still get my FIW figures from him and shipping is not expensive. I just started collecting the New AWI Spanish from him to add to my FIW range as troops in the Islands to fight with the French and British troops. They are very nice figures and all are done by the same Sculptor as the Trident figures are. They also released New Colonial troops for the FIW. |

Cheers, nothing useful for Napoleonic Peninsular then by the sounds. |

For 40mm Napoleonics … Perry Miniatures currently only have French, British, and Spanish. Sash & Saber currently have French, British, and Spanish Guerillas. Sash & Saber also have Austrians, Polish, Prussians, and Russians. |

Just ordered some Sash and Sabre Guerillas and Hussars. Not many pictures of the Light Dragoons or Poles I can find, I like to see before I buy. |

I remember on the Facebook Napoleonic WarGamer group that award winning gamer Ian Smith posted the Sash and Saber Poles link
link link link I think the covered shako heads are French swaps but you can get the basic idea. And these are the Polish lancer figures from the old Glory Facebook: link |

Cheers the Lancers look awesome, the other links though dont seem to work |

I understand the "want to see them" approach. Hope they'll do more photos at some point, could be good for sales. At the same time, I have seen them, and the Napoleonic line is consistently good across it's nationalities. They were the first 40mm I considered getting. However, I got into 40mm AWI with Triguard/Trident through their former U.S. east coast retailer. I'm working on 28mm Naps, yet perhaps 40mm Naps will be too tempting not to do at some point. |

Are these any better? link link If not join Facebook The Napoleonic Wargamer group and search for Ian Smith 40mm Warsaw or Vistula. Most of the photos are at February 17th 2020. |
oldnorthstate | 22 Oct 2021 5:04 p.m. PST |
Sash and saber will be releasing Great Northern War Swedes and Russians soon. |
Au pas de Charge | 22 Oct 2021 9:22 p.m. PST |
Considering Sash and Saber could release about 100 40mm packs for the Napoleonic range and maybe 25 for the ACW, why are they doing 40mm GNW? Seems a bit chaotic. |

Some nice figures there thank you, food for thought. |
