Nice! I wish I lived close enough that going there was a viable option.

I visited the A/R Museum a few years ago. It was great. Highly recommended.

That will be a real wowser.
In my opinion he is the best horse and musket artist.
I will miss it, but hope those that do go enjoy it.

I have the book Liberty with the paintings in it. It is excellent.

Keith Rocco is also an excellent contemporary military artist and he does excellent Napoleonic art as well as Civil War art.

Great artist, I have several of his works, all Civil War. I really like his AWI works, but a lack of display space and it would be difficult to convince the CinC of my home to put more "history" art on the walls keep me from putting any more up.

Currently 7 (Troiani, Freeman and Taylor works) are on display. Find a compromise and your life is happier.

The Museum of the American Revolution is great. Toured it at the last Fall In (2019?).

Only problem is that it is Philadelphia. Not quite the "City of Brotherly Love" now.

I guess you could take the commuter train into see it.

Thanks for sharing this. I been to the museum and it really worth the visit if you have any interest in the AWI.
