I saw these on the plastic soldier review. Are these available ? I can not find them anywhere? |

From what I have seen from Hat production runs they put out 'X' amount of a set and when they eventually sell out it could be years before they come back around and do another run of the figures. Hat does not seem to be run on a supply and demand model. So if one set sells really well the supply dries up and it is still years before they re-stock them. I did manage to buy a few boxes of the zulus you mentioned last year and paint them up. But I missed out on the British lancers and mounted infantry. I also had a hard time locating the NNC, Mounted NNC, and the FLH. I will caution that these Zulus are a bit larger than regular 1/72 sets. Not a real problem for me. Good luck in your hunt! |

Hymie, they pop up every now and again on ebay in the UK. I do mix with a crowd of Zulu war enthusiasts, might also be an opportunity there. If you really want them, I'll try to grab some boxes and forward them to you at cost, no profit to me, boxed or unboxed. Keep in mind, postage to the US is very expensive of late so it may be worth waiting for them to appear on your side of the pond. If of interest, let me know in your own time as I'm always on the hunt. Cheers Ry |
