Just took a look at the inaugural issue of MM magazine. All I can truly say is "Wow!"…
A very professional layout, easy on the eyes, a good purchase cost, and subscription rate, a variety of topics and info, and sponsors.
Please take a look and check it out!

I might be wrong but it still looks like you have to purchase it before you can look through it.

Disco Joe;
That is correct, but dropping less than 7 bucks for a 100+ page issue, isn't robbing the wallet. And if you get the first issue, and don't like it, then that's that. If you do, then you can subscribe. One of things that I always had issues with with real magazines were the "free readers". They liked it enough to read it, but not enough to buy an issue, and thus left the copies on the racks, thumbed through and torn.
Currently MM is pdf.
You can also get an idea of what is in it from the website where they discuss much of the content.

I tried to order a single issue but in the process of finding a PayPal payment option (which I guess they don't have) I loaded up my shopping cart and I can't find anyway to clear it. I sent them an email hopefully it will get resolved.

Sadly only as E magazine, not interested.

Murphy, I like to see the pictures in addition to finding out if enough of the articles appeal to me before I buy anything.I am also a fan of hard copy as opposed to an e magazine so will pass on this. Glad you like it though.

I prefer hard copy, also. It looks interesting, though.

I will have a look at this.

Hard copy gaming magazines might be going the way of the dodo. One of the big gaming magazines just advised international hard copy subscribers that it was ceasing all overseas distribution of actual magazines. The last one is for November, I think. After that, the only international subscription method is the electronic version.

The reasons given were the rising cost of postage coupled with the uncertainty surrounding international delivery times.

As I understand it, they plan to go hard copy next year, but that assumes it succeeds at some level as an e mag. I got a yearly sub for $26.20 USD. I want it to succeed!

Disco Joe and Zulu Paul. I understand. Trust me I do. I love hard copy mags myself, and they are planning on hard copies here in the future.

Worthy of support. I'm buying a year's subscription

I picked up the subscription for a year. Haven't opened up the pdf yet. Look forward to it.

"Sorry, I only want hard copies, so I won't support it, so they won't start doing hard copies."

'Tis a bit of a dilemma!

I subscribed. Looks pretty decent!

Thanks

Hey all, quick update. I've just heard we're working on adding paypal functionality to the website. I don't know what the ETA is but I have been told "soon."

So yes, we have heard you!

Hello, I love the idea of an American wargaming magazine and once the Paypal is on-boarded, it's go-time.

Big Red Supporting Member of TMP12 Nov 2021 8:29 a.m. PST

Sadly, still no Paypal option.

Military Miniature Magazine15 Nov 2021 8:44 p.m. PST

At Military Miniature, we strive to reach everyone within the wargaming, tabletop, and miniature communities and make subscribing to our digital publication as simple as possible.

While PayPal isn't a payment option through our official website, we do want to work with PayPal customers. We are currently unable to customize PayPal's subscription system to work with our subscription system – but we do have a solution!

If PayPal is your preferred payment method, please contact Samantha@militaryminiatureDOTcom and we will manually process your order. We will send you a PayPal invoice to your preferred email address, which you can then pay online. For the length of your subscription, we will email you individually and provide you with a link to the publication on the day it is released.
