I am using the 28mm Old Glory figures for the Second Seminole War. The range is not complete however, and I am looking for suggestions on which figures to use for militia. I am looking at the Old Glory Texans and Tennesseans from their Texas War of Ind range as well as the War of 1812 US Militia figures. Which would work best? How about rural civilians? Thanks in advance! |

I used to do the Alamo in 28mm and have all of those, nicely painted by David. I now play the 15mm Blue Moon Alamo, but the OG 28mm Texans and Tennesseans almost all fight as militia all the way back to the French and Indian War. Only a few, mainly the ones in top hats, do not fit. Backwoods civilian dress didn't change much, and remember that the Mexican Army was using Brown Bess muskets. So I'd say use them all. |

I recommend the Boot Hill Alamo 28mm range for your Texan and Tennessean militia plus other militias. These are superbly sculpted miniatures and highly recommended. |
