Excellent report, and the table is superb. But as all should realize, this is of course but the first part in the serialized story, and in true Arthur Conan Doyle fashion, the Good Detective shall indeed have further plans up his sleeve, and his faithful chronicler, the esteemed Dr. Watson, will recover forthwith from his wounds (which have but stunned him), and return to the fray! (Certainly that is what shall come in installment two! ) |

Reminds me of the kind of games my friend Martin puts on. In fact, we've been talking about a wicker man based game recently so your excellent report has spurred us on. DBDD |

Thanks, chaps, glad you enjoyed the report and appreciated Bruce's beautiful work and ingenious scripting. Parzival, now you mention it: yes, the mound on which the Wicker Man is standing does seem uncannily like a Neolithic barrow. No doubt Holmes and his grateful rescuee will escape through the tunnels revealed by the collapsing pyre, and no doubt Watson was merely stunned rather than slain. To be continued … |
