Guys, We're trying to 'shake the bushes' here locally, by rousting out the area guys for a once-a-month, recurring event played at our Midwest US game shop. Just some pics from our October gaming (this month's theme was WW2). Eastern Front meeting engagement in 3mm (Tank On Tank game rules modified for miniatures).
3mm board closeup -
Eastern Front winter action (A Fistful of Tows III rules with 1/200th scale minis).
From my N. Africa scenario (1/144th scale game – I've posted enough of the play test shots of this game already – but it did go off well for its 2nd running).
Thanks for looking! |

Excellent presentation all around, FlyXwire! I would be happy to attend one of your sessions if I wasn't so far away in Arizona. You should have no problems recruiting new players. From my own experience, I find that a well presented game will draw potential players in to at least have a look. I need to get out and start hosting again soon but have a lot of things going on right now. |

Glad to see the Stugs are "brewing up" nicely. I just hope the crews got out and are heading for Canadian POW camps. Amused that "So far away" is Arizona. For us, it is still Paris, Florence or Madrid. One day this will all pass. Incredible that it came EXACTLY one hundred years on (and proved far less deadly, but much more disruptive to the whole Earth) |

GamesPoet, much appreciated! Charlie, I'll post on our next one for sure, and you do the same for down there in the Heart of Texas, especially with MillenniumCon coming up next month in November. ;) Pete, stay busy as ever, and looking forward to your game posts when you get back to 'em. DH, thanks also, and salute to you our modelling wizard, philosopher, and forum-favorite Dr. across the pond. |
