Looking at both scales. Terrain dilemma. Looking at compromise would 6mm buildings work for both 6 and 10mm rather than buying for both? |

OK for big stuff like castles, 6mm houses are way too twee for 10mm |

All my buildings are in 6mm, 15mm and 25mm(very few). I do the same thing with all of my trees but can use 6mm and 15mm trees in 6mm game and 15mm and 25mm trees in 15mm game. You may be able to get by with 6mm buildings (in 10mm game) if the buildings are scattered and simple (farm houses, barns etc). Are you planning on using the same buildings in the same period with two scales? Seven Years War in 6mm and Napoleonic in 10mm for example? |

Are you asking if 6mm terrain would look okay with 10mm figures, or if 6mm terrain would look okay with 10mm terrain? Unless you are playing at 1:1, I think it is a good idea to step down in size for terrain to get a more realistic footprint so, I think 6mm terrain with 10mm soldiers is perfectly fine. |

Was very disappointed when Hotz Artwork went under. I have Roman Seas that I purchased when it was sold under Hotz Artwork. The advantage is you can make the same thing multiple times so create a minor or major city or fleet. You can also create any number of ships or buildings. Just remember to us heavy weight paper, use a fixative to protect the ink and I suggest to reinforce the paper constructs with a wood backing to slow down wear. I suspect you could use the buildings into later periods. |
