Probably a few years ago now I picked up some bags of plastic bugs at knock down prices after Halloween. Finally got around to doing something with at least some of the two types of plastic spider I got. These ones didn't look totally naturalistic because of the legs so I decided to make them part of my speed painted mechanoid army. The thick mdf bases came out of the bargain bag but are useful for giving them a bit weight. I have at least the same number again unpainted so I have the makings of a nice swarm.

The last few Halloweens I've given out plastic spiders & cockroaches as well as candy treats & they are a big hit with the Trick & Treaters. |

The spirits of Halloween approve! Now, if you have some left over, you need to put a human casualty lying on the base and a spider crawling over it. |

Thanks. I'll probably leave off the casualties since I'm not actually sure I have any, figures that is, usually when I play the majority of my force is often helpfully packing itself away before the game is over… They may make an appearance at 25mm so a 15mm corpse might look a bit odd. |
