Hello everyone ,

In 28 mm figures, please apart from Reddoubt enterprises, which offers heavy cavalrymen for Mycenean greeks?

Thank you.

They used chariots, not cavalry

"They used chariots, not cavalry"

They appear to have used both – there is a limited amount of artistic evidence for Late Mycenaean cavalry. There is a 2012 article with a summary of the evidence at link

That said, I don't know anyone apart from Redoubt who makes them, sorry.

Dexter Ward, read the iliad …

The Iliad isn't really describing Mycenaean combat, charioteers dismounting etc seems to be describing the infantry combat of Homer's time. The likelihood of horses big enough and strong enough to be mounts for genuine cavalry in Greece at that time is not great.

The role of cavalry in Achaean warfare is a matter for conjecture since ,apart from the descriptions in Iliad (XI, 151), no depictions of combat involving cavalry are know.
