Just wanted to give a thumbs up for Wargames foundry, ordered a new batch of paints from them and they arrived 2 days later and well packaged.

I had a great experience with a figures order! Received them here in St. Louis, Missouri USA within 2 weeks.

To back that up, my order was five business days to Australia.

Wow- so doing 'ordinary' is the new "Awesome".
Shows how badly the rest are actually doing- every order should come with an online survey for recipients to report their experience.
That would wake up a few ideas among the 'masters' in charge.

I don't consider a day two delivery time to be "ordinary."

In light of my experiences in recent times regarding time of order to time of arrival, then yes this was awesome service by Wargames Foundry and i was most impressed.

I agree whiterose.

Well if you're next door…

Anyway my order also arrived- it took a month* (yes literally 31 days) and its packing was shall we say, potentially an issue. A crisp plastic padded enevlope but the paper bags used to comfort the mixture of a couple of frames and a few metal pieces weren't exactly robust. Must be a shortage of bubble wrap now!

Never mind it go here so I'll give them a double thumbs up thumbs up this time.

*Strangely another company order, that wasn't even made for two weeks arrived the same few days.

cheers d

Well i put in a second order from Foundry recently and once again 2 days later my paints are here! Wargames foundry have beat every other manufacturer and retailer within this hobby so far in 2021, not once now but twice!
Thankyou Wargames Foundry

As this is the most recent commentary I can find;

on a WF/ CRM combined order~
- it is also not acceptable to not apply discounts promptly;
- nor promised 'reductions'
- nor is it any kind of 'service' to ignore the 3 weekly polite emails sent [AFTER the first months wait…] requesting satisfaction of the arrangement.

because waiting 75 days from order date (nov15th) and charging by cc incurs costs to clients while you sat on a fat pile of money that, should have been returned promptly.
Yes, the products arrived in 18 days, which is solidly 'normal' for a 10,000 mile trip from the other side of the planet (UK ->NZ).

A year earlier the wait was only a week.
This is both inexcusable and unacceptable.
Except for the accountant who wanted to sit on the money and pay off other debts, rather than unsecured creditors, such as unvalued customers obviously!

At their prices I am pleased to be finally reaching the end of purchases.
Vinegar, sure, how much would you like!??

What is the point with digging through other posts and posting this SHaT?

chrisminiaturefigs16 Feb 2022 6:19 a.m. PST

Well i am glad you dug this up again SHaT. I made a third order of Foundry paints at the beginning of February, it was smaller than my first two orders but they still had them to my door within 2 days. I am speaking as a UK citizen living in the UK so cannot speak of their international delivery performance, but within the UK they have been the fastest by a country mile in recent years.

I didn't have to dig… it was easily seen on the 'index' page.. I'm not a troll who is baiting the forums with non-sensical and dated profiles miraculously coing to life after 15+ years;

It is a contrast to the trite (IMO only) post that a few days delivery was somehow marvellous performance. No credit to the sellers, just the 'system' of delivery.

In my case they ignored my requests for answers; kept money that they promised purchasers within their own DESIGNATED deadline, and in general created a very bad experience through either ignorance, indifference or both.

Delivery was made in a very 'standard' 3 weeks more or less.
Fine.

What was not was the financial refunds offered- these inducements are legally binding- and thus cost me more than it should have.

It is a very poor and shabby way to treat customers who have quite frankly, supported THEM for more than 20 years.
thanks
