A Navy helicopter's rotors struck the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier before it plunged into the sea off San Diego last week, killing five crew members, according to the Naval Safety Center… Military: link

Yes saw that in Military.com … And yes even when not in combat being in the Military can be very dangerous. It kind of comes with the job in many cases.
