Quick check, I couldn't see this posted earlier. Full Metal Miniatures miniature version of female Vietnam news reporter, based on Catherine Leroy, the "Tiny Badass". A nice range of 28mm miniatures produced by FMM. Enjoy.

I painted her up a year or two ago and thought she was simply superb as a model. Her story is just incredible, but she was lucky to have been French. Never quite understood why they were spared in Hue 68, when other European aid workers and missionaries were murdered in cold blood. FMM have a very nice range, the stretcher party especially so. The US helmets have been criticised here before and they do need much work, but I would forgive that. |

I only showed her with the stretcher party and frankly she is not as good as yours. In reality she had better features than either of us showed, but she surely had the cojones. She was tiny, but what a character. How she survived in Hue was a miracle. She must have taken more photos of the NVA than the six or seven I can find My pics TMP link Not 28mm, the real thing

Deadhead, thank you for your input – now, and much earlier. Your casualty vignette is really nice. The size comparison comments found there are a bit worrying for me as I opted to go for the Empress Miniatures range over Gringos40. However, I think the little lady will be an ideal fit. Very nice model & modelling. Yes … She is lucky she survived Hue, etc. Looks like she is getting " 'chuted up" by a 173d ABN Parachute Rigger. The Riggers wore red baseball caps with their Rigger wings on them. Think they still do ?  |
