Painting some 54mm french truck drivers and can't find any references telling me what they wore? Any help will be appreciated. |

Is this for early or late WW1, or the inter-war period (based on posting this question in the Early 20th Century Painting Guides message board). Or other? Robert |

I just do them in infantry uniforms. According to my 'uniforms of the French Army' they just wore normal uniforms with green collar tabs (supply services and train) marked with a capital A to distinguish them from the horse drawn supply troops. |

I agree with Martin; same as their infantry colleagues. Robert |

In 54mm you can add the green collar tabs. I guess if you have a steady hand you could also try and paint the teeny A insignia on the tabs too. |
