The recent lockdown in Sydney has been the perfect excuse to revive my dormant colonial project. I've had two boxes of Perry plastic Mahdist Ansars waiting for some paint and a half started box of British infantry. Pleased to say I've finished off the first box of Ansars and the figures in the second are now assembled and waiting for primer. I've gone with 3,2,1 basing for the Mahdists, I think it suits their irregular formations more than a sabot base. There's a blog post for those interested in more on the basing and painting here 3,2,1…..Mahdist Ansars are go!
