UCAVs are proliferating everywhere – Iraqi Popular Mobilisation Units now operate Iranian supplied Mohajer-6 to the Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF). These guys are also equipped with Iranian supplied loitering munitions (kamikaze drones).

PMF are nominally authorised by Iraqi government as the Iraqi army and unsupported airforce are regarded as garbage and unreliable. Ironically Iraqi army is trained by NATO but has historically performed poorly save a small handful of units.

In reality the Shia PMFs are just another way of Iran wielding influence in Iraq. Their advisers include Iranians and Hezbollah and Iran is their primary supplier and funding sources.

The lower in number and capability Sunni PMFs on the other hand are mainly supported by Turkey.

UCAV – Unmanned combat aerial vehicle

Soon enough the troops on the ground will have to dodge the debris from airborne collisions and not worry so much about incoming bullets.*

Iraq is about 60% Shia. And Iran being 95% + Shia. That is no surprise that they will continue support of Iraq's Shia militia. To kill whoever they want e.g. Iraqi[non-Shia], US, etc.

Actually the Iranians and the Shia's have common ground with the Kurds who are Sunni.

Their common enemy is the Sunni Arabs who dominated both sides since the British sponsored kingdom of Iraq was formed in 1921 and whose last attempt at regaining power was ISIS.

Before that Sunnis were favoured under the Ottoman Empire and the Mameluke kingdom of Iraq.

And during that time conflict between Sunnis as represented by Ottomans etc and Shias as represented by Safavid and Afsharid Iran and then later on the Persia was common.

Indeed we are currently in another religious war between Sunnis and Shias (with America overtly siding with Sunnis).

Sure you hate Shia and Iranians, but the truth is all sides are just as bad as each other and there is a half a millennium of war and power struggles at play here.

Yes, I knew that … They are "flexible" when it comes to Sunni-Shia & vis versa.

E.g. ISIS is Sunni but that will kill anyone is who is not ISIS

AQ is Sunni but ISIS and them are archenemies.

Most in A'stan are Sunni and they and ISIS hate each other.

Turks are Sunni and they hate the Kurds who are Sunni.

Hamas is Sunni but gets support from Iran who are mostly Shia.

Etc., etc., etc., etc.

Sure you hate Shia and Iranians, but the truth is all sides are just as bad as each other and there is a half a millennium of war and power struggles at play here.
The USA is still PO'd about when Iran overran our embassy and took hostages. The USA does not like ISIS, AQ or the Taliban and they are Sunni

So who hates who may actually be more than just religious differences …

(with America overtly siding with Sunnis).
Maybe … You make it a point to say that the US sided with the KSA over Iran, etc. I think we know why … for better or worse.

Both are really a different side of the same coin.
