You were asked – TMP link Does your gaming club have an official shirt? 40% said "I'm not part of a gaming club" 30% said "no, we don't have an official shirt" 15% said "yes, we have an official shirt" |

We have an official club, used to settle rules disputes. Does that count? |

I am a big fan of Club shirts. Some of the best clubs around--The HAWKS for example--wear them at conventions when hosting their events. I think it helps to promote the club. Artwork on shirts can also be an interesting choice. IIRC, penguins were on the Club shirts of the Northern Alliance. |

Part of the 'presentation' of gaming expertise was to use club shirts at sponsored events to advertise our presence. We usually outshone even the gun clubs who only had mealy little badges… Unfortuntaely clubs are a dying continuum even here____ |

Our local club has shirts for when we attend conventions. Used to be about 10 shows a year as a club but now at zero. It lets show visitors know who to talk to and advertises the club to prospective new members. We don't wear them at club nights or when out shopping. martin

In my old club The Battle Barn, one of the members had a shop that did embroidery put a design on shirts of those who wanted to do it. So not truly a club shirt, but a shirt with a club insignia on it. It worked pretty much as martin goddard described above. Tom |

The Lone Star Historical Miniatures (LSHM) club of Texas is alive and well – we do have an official shirt and logo that we proudly display every chance we get – it is a great way to advertise who we are and recruit new members. We also put our logo on many items we give out as prizes at events and Conventions.

Actually the synopsis isn't correct. If 'not in a club' then the response isnt valid. And invalid data is struck out, usually. So that may also effect the result. FWIW; |

Our "club" is as informal as it gets. We usually play in the OFM's basement. Or at Mike's. One guy manages to coordinate our schedule. Is he the Real Boss? I think so. 15 or so years ago, one of our "group" set up a Yahoo thingie. He also designed a logo for golf shirts' pickets. It was basically Gadsden. Sadly that logo has recently been besmirched by sociopathic morons bent on overthrowing legitimate constitutional governance. |

I was in a Warhammer club for a while and we did have club shirts and wore them at tournaments. It was kind of cool to see a bunch of us in the same shirt. |
