How good to see the Germans correctly shown as relying on horse traction. It is so tempting to model the countless motorised-wheeled, half tracked, full tracked, foreign captured vehicles etc. This was the reality. Very imaginative creation here. |

This was the reality. In the infantry divisions (which formed the majority of German strength). Panzer and panzergrenadier divisions would have been provided with some form of motorized transport for their divisional artillery. As war progressed, panzer divisions might even be provided with a limited number of tracked, self-propelled artillery pieces. |
