So ive watched a half dozen or so videos on the new rules and army list. Reviews are split pretty evenly between good and awful. I've got mine on pre-order so they're still about a week away. Good or bad this will be my Xmas demo-game with my nephews this year. I was just checking to see if anyone got their copy yet and what your first thoughts are. Thanks. |

I've preordered mine but have not played. From what I hear, The rules are great and there the two fleshed out factions in the box. The Compendium, for $50 USD, will give you vanilla lists for the other factions until they get their own new treatment. |

That looks like the list from the Compendium which is $50 USD on top of the $199 USD boxed game. The boxed game has Kommandos and Death Korps which are not reprinted in the Compendium. |

I opted not to get the boxed game. I just picked up the rules & the Compendium (which were expensive enough). |

The new set is already OOP in less than a week. When it first posted, GW had a preorder and a "made to order" option, this week, it is just sold out. link |

So my order ofvthe rules and the compendium by themselves still hasn't shown up (despite having been charged for the 14th). Since my local shop has them I canceled the order. I was never given a reason for the delay bit I'm assuming they sold more copies than they produced (again). |
