We like the roads, especially after a couple minor modifications.

What are your thoughts on them? And Battle Systems cardstock terrain in general?

Mrs. GG and I quite like the Sci-Fi terrain but the Fantasy terrain has not caught our imagination the same way the Sci-Fi has.

Hey, GG. I know you've seen my review, but I love the northern settlement.

This weekend we'll be doing a 4-way Grimdark Future Firefight game using the Outlands Core Set. I'm excited to get to use it.

I don't see me getting the roads. I use a lot of Geo-Hex, and these would be too flat.

The Northern Settlement aesthetic is appealing but Mrs. GG is committed to our Hagglethorn Hollow thatched roof buildings and maybe the GW Rohan buildings one day.

We have a few sets of the Outlands and love them.

The static flat nature of the roads means that they only really work with our flat, smooth neoprene mat. They do not play well with our Dwarven Forge terrain except as part of a negative space build.

My son has supported the digital Hagglethorn Hollow. I love them, but they don't particularly go with the figures I have now. Neither does the northern settlement, but I'll paint some Rohan figures at some point.

Actually, my son has mentioned scaling down the Hagglethorn Hollow figures to 15mm for use with our Quar figures. We already have some nice scratch-built houses for that, but they could work for a different country.
