The link says the sword was in private hands since 1952. Great to see it but it does makes you wonder what else is in 'private hands' that the public may never get too see until someone needs some cash and decides to sell it? It also makes you wonder what bearing on history/archaeology any of these unknown and unseen items might actually have as well? |
