Hello everyone,

There is a new Kickstarter by Bavarian sculptor Luckas Luber who is designing 28mm Württemberg infantry. These look great and the well-painted finished models look very promising. It seems they also have files for 3D printing, which seems to be the future of making miniature if you have a printer! He has some pictures of how 15mm models would look as well.

I am a big fan of the officers and Jaegers!

These look great and I'm not digging through my books regarding the temporary Württemberg regiment that made up the 25th Infantry Division under GdD Marchand at Borodino. My amateur impression, given how little I know of Württemburg, says that I could use quite a lot of these minis for it. :)

they look great, the size of the cartridge box is however a sad joke.

I have always been told that size does not matter.

What worries me is how often people with XX chromosomes felt the need to tell me that. I live on the North East Coast of England, near the North Sea and, in winter, it can be freezing here.

2000 Euros would scare me…

Quite a few people have pledged for this rather small army. Over $10,000 USD US already.

What I want to know is this: Are the Perry Brothers bringing out their own Wurttemberg? If so, I'm canning this project and will await the Perry's.

Wow! They look great. Almost made me want to go up a few scales. But then I look at the wargaming playing area and think I'll have to stick with 6mm, for now. But should I get lucky on the Lottery! LOL

Excellent work and painting.

Very nice looking figures and, importantly to me anyway, Perry Miniatures compatible. The question as to whether Perry Miniatures will produce a line of Wurttwmbergers is a good one. The answer. Only Alan Perry knows! Alan is often Delphic when pressed, understandably perhaps, given the volume of ranges on his plate, but Napoleonics is his number 1 historical period, so a firm maybe. Maybe! I will be backing this range and hope it grows to see cavalry, artillery, troops in campaign dress and in shako. Von Winterfeldt, the sculptor is 25, so still learning the complex nuances of Napoleonic uniforms. I'm sure he would welcome and value some gentle advice from someone knowledgeable like yourself. Get in touch mate!! it would certainly value add to the final product. Deadhead, you you have only confirmed what many have long suspected, thank you.

I am not sure, he knows how to sculpt very well but I would just recommend to look at contemporary prints and how muskets are held, like look how the NCO is holding his musket, before sculpting, research is mandatory – yes a complex and difficult topic to sculpt historical miniatures, good ranges as the Perrys or AB show the interest of the sculptors not only in sculpting but in research was well.

The sculptor has great talent, but he should visit pages as napoleon-online.de and at those numerous prints and asks questions.

Here an NCO and look how he carries the musket
