The last thing you would think one should do when you have a pile of unread titles, is to look at books for sale. But it happened when we had to wait for a shop to open because they were on a dinner break. To pass the time away we went to look at a community area that, among crafts and other things, had someone selling second hand books. One section contained military titles and I spotted a hardback copy of Poles and Saxons of the Napoleonic Wars by George Nafziger. It was in excellent condition and I expected it to cost over £20.00 GBP at the very least. But it was priced up at £4.50 GBPp. So, as you can imagine, pile of unread titles or not, I had to get it because it was in such a good condition, almost new looking in fact. Obtaining it at that price me made me wonder what other Napoleonic bargains people may have come across? It doesn't have to be books. |

Amazon currently has the following at I would call "buy it now, quickly" prices: Polish Eyewitness Accounts of the 1812 Campaign at $8.22 USD with free delivery (Amazon Prime Members) The Great Waterloo Controversy, The Story of the 52nd Regiment by Gareth Glover for $5.30 USD free Amazon Prime delivery And a real treat: An audio book: John Hussey's Waterloo: The Campaign from Elba to Ligny and Quatre Bras. Unabridged for $6.09 USD and free Amazon Prime delivery These deals are all still active |

Between eBay and Amazon sellers, I have most of the Waterloo Archive series for under $9 USD a title (HB). |

For books I can find Ospreys at a local toy soldier show for as little as $5 USD and they're in great condition. For soldiers I have an Old Glory card. You can't beat that🙂 |

I would have placed TimeCast's as the best bargain so far but obtaining a bargain for £10.00 GBP in 1985 is not the same as obtaining it for the same price in 2021. But still a good buy all the same. |
