So my package arrived, great figures and only the smallest twinge of regret that I cut ~$100 from the list just before finalising the pledge. The plastic is a bit vinyl-ish though, and plastic polycement doesn't seem to be doing a great job – can anyone recommend an available in the UK glue that works well? My next try will probably be UHU contact adhesive – but I'll let the polycement have a bit longer to see how it dries. |

Super glues work great, I use Loctite Professional, not sure if it's available in the UK, but sure something similar is. |

I used E6000 Glue, on the few Bones mini's I own. It has a higher sheer strength than Super Glue. It holds up nicely, for larger figures (Treant) -- not sure on smaller figures, though. Not sure if it is available in the UK, either. Cheers! |

I could get E6000 via Amazon UK, so may be worth trying. I was "resigned" to using Supergluefor the larger giants and dragons, but would prefer something a bit less "one-shot" for the smaller figures (I rarely use more than 1/2 a tube before it hardens!). Thanks! |

E6000 Glue is solvent=based. You could try sealing it within one or two zip-lock baggies, with the air squeezed out. That should greatly slow down how fast the tube hardens. Best of luck. Cheers! |

I'm just curious…how big was your package of Reaper goodness that you got? I've got two coming in next week weighing in at just under 49 lbs… |

Oh – not that big! I didn't buy the core set or any of the big expansions. I very nearly went for the Greek myth, and the underwater setting was really tempting because it was a bit different. And when I finalised my pledge I more than halved it…I was going to get all the dragons and then thought "hey, be realistic, and maybe just get the big one." Did a lot of talking myself out of stuff that night! I said ~$100 reduction before, but I think it was probably nearer $150 USD (plus!). So, like I said in the OP, just the tiniest twinge of regret. But heck – they seem to run on a 2 year schedule so it'll be Bones VI soon I expect. |

I got my Bones V last week as well – so long since I signned up for it I had forgotten why I chose half the things I did. Got the Greek Expansion which will provide figures for Mortal Gods Mythic, the Brinewind Expansion, Dungeon Dwellers and Fan Favourites and few other extras. Didn't get the core set this time (duplicated a lot of what I already have) or any of the big ships and dragons. I have only painted about 3 bones figures so far and have Bones 1, 2, 4 and now 5! They are part of my long term plan to do more fantasy Dungeon Crawl games… Mike |

E6000 is also what I use. |

20th Maine and Black Hat are a lot more reserved than me… I went in for approx. $450.00 USD Including The Core Set, A couple of the dragons, 2 Catapults and Trebuchets each, Almost all of the "Encounter vignettes", The Brinewind Expansion, The Pirate Ship, The Greek Odyssey, A few of the expansions also… My wife then wondered "why" I didn't go back and get the GITD ship also. She then told me to get on the late pledge backer and get one… |

Mine was mostly the Monster add-on sets, the War mammoth, some of the giants, a few sets of "extras" taken from the core set that will be perfect as complete warbands for SOBH, the biggest dragon, the "war machines" – trebuchet etc. The Pumpkin Beholder is heading for my Fighting Fungi forces. I had had all the "encounter at" set pieces on the list, but talked myself down from them! I had been in a painting lull, and I'm not exactly short of unpainted stuff already. So I'm happy with what I got. No envy – but congrats on both versions of the ship. Very cool. |
