Here is another VC soldier with the traditional vietnamese "No'n La' " headgear. The head is from Empress as is the body of the figure.

I have heard said they did not much wear that hat – nón lá – in action but as they were and still are ubiquitous, I think it's impossible to say it never happened.

I had quite a few among my NLF figures but not in the PAVN.
