Yes very sad. I didn't mean my blog comment to be political but that is one of the issues with gaming many modern conflicts. Vietnam is tragic for the west because we lost. If that had been a B-17 raid and a bomber went down it still would be sad but, hey, stopping the oil supply eventually led to ending the war so it was worth it. So yes I agree. Fortunately no real person was hurt!
Jack, you clearly are still a marine. The squadron is the "1010" double dimes. Double nickles would be "55" and is too close to the triple nickles which is a historical squadron. Fun fact, I actually flew with the triple nickles when I was in Aviano.
The kill ratio at the beginning of the war was close to 1:1; worst in US history. That is why the navy led the way with changing tactics so unfortunately we are right there. Thank you both. Regarding the kill ratio, of course, I've seen "Top Gun" ;) Cool stuff, and if you played SAGA you've got to post SAGA. Unless it keeps you from playing Sgt Bomba or Sgt Jack ;) V/R,
