I managed to get a quick game of Five Leagues from the Borderlands in a couple of days back. My doughty band of heroes and heroines found an Orc camp and raided it:

See link to find out how they got on.

Seems like a thorough enough report. Hope you Enjoy making more scenery, having some road pieces, stream pieces, some hills, a few buildings, those kinds of things will add to your ability to have different terrain set ups. Best of good fortune with your games!

Thanks very much GamesPoet. I am not too badly off for streams and hills and so on, since they are transferable between scales to a degree, it is buildings and towers and other focal points for fantasy skirmish action that I am pretty short of.

Interesting game report! I bought Five Leagues From the Borderlands and have played one solo game to see how it works, then re-read the rules to find out what all things I did wrong. I hope to try another game in the next week or so. I do have lots of 28mm figures and the terrain to go with them for larger games (rivers, swamps, roads, buildings, my own stone circle), but your description brought home the fact that I lack some of the things needed for a game at this scale. Like a campfire. I'll have to work on this.

Love the megalithic henges. It's a great use of the material.

Thanks very much both – hope your game goes well Grelber.
