I pulled out some Mars mats I haven't used in 4 or 5 years. They were rolled but over time the roll kinda squashed. So they have loads of folds/wrinkles.

Anyone have a good way to get rid of them? Ironing? Toss in the dryer?

Plan to use them Wednesday morning.

Maybe wet them down a bit then in the dryer.

Yea, the above, or try steaming them, with another piece of fabric (cotton) in between just to be safe.

Lay something (s) real heavy on them over night. I use really heavy books. The longer you can keep them on the better. Steaming might work but it is vinyl so keep it on low. Be careful of the mats sticking to whatever you lay on it. You might contact the company and see what they suggest.

These mats are felt. I have contacted MKP as well.

If felt, why not try ironing them on low heat? You can try a small test spot first.

I wonder if hanging them outside on a clothesline in the sun/heat would help?

Solved.

Spritz until damp ON THE BACK SIDE with water, 20 minutes in the dryer on high heat.

And when I next store them I'll hang them to keep them flat.
