I played my first game at the Devon Wargames Group for sixteen months, this weekend, with a warm up game of Kiss Me Hardy, for our upcoming 'Clotted Lard' meeting in September using the Leeward Line scenario from Warlord Games.
Much fun was had by all and if you would like to know more then just follow the link to the club blog. link JJ |

Hi and thank you. We had a really fun day and it's surprising how much you appreciate something the more so when you haven't been able to enjoy it for a long time. It's very easy to take the social aspect of the hobby for granted and throw in a fun game as well really makes a day to remember. Cheers JJ |

Sounds like you had fun . I am also encouraged ,on how you do conversions like the 64s from the basic Warlord 3 rates .:) |

Hi mysteron, We did indeed, and I trust you found the post about cutting up 74's helpful, but as highlighted on my recent post looking at my Batavian Dutch light squadron, I have mentioned, with a CAD illustration, that Warlord have confirmed their intention to produce a 64-gun, 50-gun and 24-gun (corvette) as part of their plans to expand the Black Seas range so I will be focussing on other stuff in anticipation of that roll out. link JJ |
