Does anyone know if the S&S pack "Mounted French Infantry Colonels" allows you to make a Napoleon himself figure? The ACW line allows a way to make multiple commanders, so I wanted to see if Napoleon can be made before I make the investment. Thank you. |

I've been buying S&S for years (most of my ACW is Sash
and Saber) and I don't recall seeing 'Mounted French
Infantry Colonels' in either the 28 or 40 mm online
catalogs. I think there was such a listing several years ago but
don't find it today. But I believe it would be possible to convert a 40mm
mounted French officer to a figure of Napoleon – just
take a considerable degree of modeling skill (which I
absolutely lack) and time. I have not seen one but the 40mm catalog entry for 2
French officers (40NAP210 – no photo available) might
be what you meant with your reference to 'Mounted French
Infantry Colonels.' |

First Legion does a 40mm Napoleon on foot. That's halfway to mounted🙂 |

The French Mounted Officers pack contains 2 different bodies with multiple arms and heads allowing a variety of multiple builds. However, they are not meant to represent higher level officers such as Marshals or Napoleon. I eventually will tackle high command. Chris |
