I didn't vote, but I would have voted 'no'. From a strategic perspective, gaining control of the Iberian peninsula was very important. However, Napoleon failed in his execution of the task. He treated the Spanish people, army, and crown with complete contempt. He also showed no respect for the Roman Catholic Church. This helped to galvanize the Spanish people against him. He them failed in the mission. This does not mean that the undertaking was a mistake.

A badly handled brilliant campaign that fails is worse in total effect than one that was never implemented.
