I just found a JB Weld superglue with a UV light. It seems to solve the "3 hand dilemma" when trying to glue a sword in place without gluing your fingers to the sword.
Instantaneous bond.
It's around $9.95 USD at Walmart, so I'm not about to use it to glue FoW infantry to a medium base. Cheap glue is fine for that.

Reminds me of oil discussions on motorcycle and tractor forums… Everyone has their opinion -- they are right, and everyone else is wrong. LOL! Cheers!

The "problem" with Superglue was that in its original formulation, it was TOO good.
So now the more expensive formulations are actually weaker.
I blame lawyers. grin

I would use no other "super glue" than Rapid Fix. On the high side of cost, but the strongest, fastest glue I have ever seen in my 50 years in the hobby. It comes in two parts but one is glue and one is filler, if you need it.

I will say some 40k models I bought that were put together with cheap superglue now fall apart regularly years later. Ones I assembled with more expensive glue longer ago still holding strong.
